The Champion Outreach team has many on going programs that bring life and love to the city of Yuma. Click below to learn more about each of these different programs and how to get involved.

Power Pack Yuma

This program provides breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks for children during the weekend. These children are participants of the free lunch program, and some of them without powerpack, more than likely would go without food during the weekends. This program is offered with the assistance of the school superintendent and children are identified by the school counselor and nurse. We are currently looking for volunteers to put bags together and individual size food items. We are currently supporting 20 kids from Carver Elementary and looking to expand.

Mobile Soup Kitchen

The Champion Outreach Team feeds the homeless all over the city, the mission, and children around low income neighborhood. We also feed a vast majority of people enrolled at The Living Center, a counseling and Treatment center. This place is attended by not only males in rehab or recently released from prison but also women and their children, looking to make a positive change in their lives. This outreach is done two or three times a month.

Senior Care

Visit to various senior resident homes throughout yuma, where we not only pamper them for an hour, but we converse, sing, and dance with residents and just bring some happiness into their lives. Most of these residents are forgotten and do not receive visitors but definitely look forward to our visit the third saturday of every month.

Street Teams

The Champion Outreach Team hits the streets! We visit different areas throughout Yuma County, where the level of poverty is very high, and offer assistance with clothing, food, school supplies, conversation, spiritual assistance thru prayer and conversation, companionship and mentorship to the kids and some parents. We build relationship with the residents and provide information regarding different agencies that may be able to assist with bigger needs that we cannot assist with. We provide transportation to church services when requested.
