In an effort to minimize social contact and comply with President Trump’s request to limit gatherings to 10 people, we are going to have “Drive-in-Church” this Sunday!

Champion Church is mobilizing to bring hope, faith, and help to all that we can during this challenging time. Whether it lasts a week or several months, we will continue to be the light to our community and provide spiritual strength to you, while we navigate this situation together.

DRIVE-IN-CHURCH

We are moving our services and ministries completely online and will upload full Sunday services each week to Facebook, Youtube, and here on our website, and we hope you gather in your home or with another family (under 10 people!) to participate in the online church experience.

As for Sundays, we know that many people want to come to church, so we are going to hold one service at 10:00 AM on Sunday, outdoors in our parking lot.  Champion Church knows how to do outdoor events since we’ve been doing Jesus Is Born and the Pumpkin Patch for 16 years.  You will remain in your vehicle, and we will have live church, setup outside on a stage in front of the main church building, This will be a 45 minute service that you will be able to see and hear, including worship with loud speakers, and over radio that you will be able to tune into when you arrive.  You will also be given a webpage to go to that will have the lyrics of the worship songs and the message slides you would normally see on the screens.  We will provide a special parking layout that will give everyone the best view possible.  Our team is so excited to see this creative vision happen so we hope and pray you join us this Sunday at 10:00 AM.   PS:  Our building will remain open for bathrooms etc.

CHILDCARE

Since we cannot have normal Kids Church, we are putting a great package together for your kids to take home that will keep them on track, along with lots of things for the whole family.

We encourage you to stay connected to the Champion Facebook Page for further updates.

In 2 Chronicles 2:5-6, Solomon declared: 5 “The temple I am going to build will be great, because our God is greater than all other gods. 6 But who is able to build a temple for him, since the heavens, even the highest heavens, cannot contain him? Who then am I to build a temple for him, except as a place to burn sacrifices before him?

This scripture reminds us that God is bigger than a building or a church (or a virus, or mass hysteria)! Our church is a place to worship our great God, but we can worship Him in the parking lot, the living room, or anywhere else we may be.  We can worship God by sharing our resources with those in need, and by praying for our neighbors and finding out their needs.  God is in every act of LOVE because God is LOVE.

And by the way, God is not worried about supplying every need of yours.  That’s what He does!

See you Sunday!
