I’m Thankful That I Can TRUST

By November 18, 2018Sermon Notes

“Some find their strength in their weapons and wisdom, but my miracle deliverance can never be won by men. Our boast is in the Lord our God, who makes us strong and gives us victory!”   Psalms 20:7 TPT

1.  I’m thankful that I can TRUST God with my future, my hopes, my faith, and my desires

He makes my plans come to pass:

“Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heartCommityour way to the Lord;  trust in him and he will do this:  Psalm 37:4-5 (NIV)

 2.  I’m thankful that I can trust what I’m believing for, to God, not my circumstances

“God, … gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did”

“[Abraham] did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, 21 beingfully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised.”  Romans 4:17, 20-21 NIV

 3.  I’m thankful that I can trust that God is my Rock

“I love you, Lord; you are my strength. The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my savior; my God is my rock, in whom I find protection. He is my shield, the power that saves me, and my place of safety.”      Psalm 18:1-3  (NLT)

“God is our refuge and strength, an everpresent help in trouble.”   Psalm 46:1
