This Is Who We Are  Part 3

CHAMPION CHURCH MESSAGE NOTES – STEVE BLOOMFIELD

We are passionate followers and friends of Jesus

  • John 12:26 Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also will be. My Father will honor the one who serves me.
  • John 15:15 No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you.

We are equipped with everything we need to live a Champion Life

  • Ephesians 3:20-21 20 Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us,21 to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.
  • 1 Peter 2:3-4 His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature

We are overcomers, more than conquerors, and faith walkers

  • 1 John 4:4 You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world. 
  • 1 John 5:4 for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.
  • Romans 8:35,37-39  Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?
  • 37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerorsthrough him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
  • Philippians 3:12, 13-14 But One thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead,14 I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
